Brass is a popular material used to make jewellery in many different parts of Africa . These charms are made using the ‘lost wax’ method a technique popular in many West African coutries such as Ghana and Nigeria. The brass charms are created in bee’s wax in the first instance and are then casted using an oil based clay.
This chocker necklace enfuses these brass charms and a gold plated necklace chain, giving the piece a contemporary look.
The necklace is 16″ long.
